Canadian undergraduate Policy Competition

The Canadian Undergraduate Policy Competition (CUPC) is proud to announce that the second iteration of its competition will be held on November 24-26, 2023. Jointly hosted by UBC’s Political Science Students Association (PSSA), International Relations Students Association (IRSA), and the Vancouver School of Economics Undergraduate Society (VSEUS), CUPC is a unique opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in writing for government, collaborating as a team, and problem-solving. Students will be provided with mentor support and expert lectures throughout the competition. CUPC will challenge, engage, and excite all who participate.

At the end of the competition, a panel of expert judges will evaluate the Briefs. The team with the winning Brief will be awarded a monetary prize.
